About Me
My Journey…
I grew up a quiet, thoughtful child in a family where care and compassion were at the heart of how we lived. My parents were both therapists—good listeners, natural teachers, and sharp observers. From my mom, I inherited warmth and an artistic eye; from my dad, a love of precision and detail. My four sisters and I found our own unique way of caring for others, both professionally and in the home—and we remain lovingly connected to this day.
My professional background includes work as a portrait photographer and a licensed massage therapist—two careers that require trust, sensitivity, and a calming presence. I’ve always brought those qualities to my work: helping people feel safe, understood, and more at ease in themselves. Whether behind the camera, at the massage table, or in conversation, I create a space where people can relax, open up, and be themselves.
My most powerful lessons about change came from my own journey. Since early childhood, I struggled with shyness until I discovered Toastmasters, where I learned to communicate with confidence. Later, I studied, learned, and performed in improv classes at a local theater, which helped me truly find my voice. These experiences showed me that consistent practice—within a safe space, and with caring, knowledgeable mentors—is the true foundation of lasting personal change.
I deepened my understanding of communication through training in “Safe Conversations,” designed by Harville Hendrix and Helen LaKelly-Hunt, authors of New York Times bestseller “Getting the Love You Want.” Combined with over 30 years of meditation practice and a thorough grounding in life coaching, I’ve developed a unique approach to helping clients navigate life’s challenges.
Today, I specialize in serving kindred spirits who want to manage stress more effectively, navigate unwanted changes while pursuing desired ones, and communicate more effectively in their personal and professional relationships. Having walked this path myself, I understand what makes us different from our more extroverted counterparts—and why those differences are actually our superpowers.
